HUSH MONEY FOR MURRAY

Make it stand out

Hush Money for Murray?

The State Government has announced a $15 million “Sustainable Communities” payment. They call it support — I call it hush money.

While their water policies rip $2 billion a year out of regional economies, they throw us a one-off cheque worth just a drop in the river.

This isn’t about supporting our communities. It’s about buying silence.

I’ve told Minister Moriarty we don’t want pocket change — we want sensible water policies that protect farmers, families and jobs along the Murray-Darling Basin.

Murray deserves respect, not token payments.
