POTENTIAL 6.3 BILLION DOLLAR BOOST TO THE STATES BUDGET
Following the NSW state budget's release, opposition leader Mark Speakman pointed out a 34% decrease in transport, a 41% decrease in education infostructure, zero additional cost of living relief, Aswell as a decrease in spending per GDP from 2.5% to 2%. If the NSW government decided to sell 450 GL of their water surplus to the federal government to block the destructive water buybacks, they could boost budget spending by a whopping 5% while also allowing our regional communities to thrive once again, bringing in even more for the economy, talk about killing two birds with one stone. I think this is a no brainer, what do you think?
