Australia Post just fired one of the people who had the guts to speak out about what happened to Coleambally's post office.

This is how Australia Post tried to hide its problems. It sacks whistleblowers.

In February, Australia Post downgraded Coleambally's Licensed Post Office to a Community Postal Agency and relocated it into a pharmacy. The PO boxes are gone. Bill payments are gone. Banking is gone. Parcel tracking is gone. Mail is now sorted on a trestle table under a carport.

How can Australia Post think this is good enough for a town of more than a thousand people.

Ninety-seven per cent of Coleambally residents want their LPO back. And ninety-five per cent say they were never consulted before Australia Post took it away.

Seventy-three post offices were closed across Australia in 2024 alone.

The Albanese Government is failing rural Australia.
