76% Water buybacks increase

Federal Labor has crossed the line.

Murray Watt and Anthony Albanese just expanded Basin water buybacks to 300GL — despite the Minns NSW Government repeatedly saying they oppose destructive buybacks.

This is a betrayal of NSW Basin communities.

A betrayal of our farmers, our towns, and our food security.

I’m calling on the Minns Government to finally back their words with action:

Tell Canberra that NSW will withdraw from the Murray–Darling Basin Plan if these buybacks don’t stop.

Our water isn’t political currency.

Our communities aren’t expendable.

NSW must stand up — now.
